Privacy Policy

Master Poultry Traders is a private business app. It is used by the shopkeepers who buy from Master Poultry Traders, Lahore, and by the staff of that office. It shows a shopkeeper his own account with us: what was delivered, what he has paid, and what is outstanding.

There is no public sign-up. An account exists only because the office already trades with that shop and created it. Downloading the app does not create one.

A shopkeeper's account holds:

• His name and his shop name, as the office already had them.
• His mobile number, used to find his account when he first opens the app, and to send him a receipt on WhatsApp.
• The trading record between his shop and us: deliveries, weights, rates, bills, payments received, and the running balance.
• Orders he places through the app, and the office's answer.

That is the whole of it. This information came from doing business together and existed in a paper register before the app did.

• No email address. A shopkeeper never gives one.
• No location. The app never asks the phone where it is.
• No contacts, no photos, no camera, no microphone, no files. The app requests no device permissions at all.
• No advertising, no advertising identifiers, no trackers. There are no ads in this app and never will be.
• No analytics on you. We do not run Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Facebook SDK or anything like them.

After the first sign-in, the app asks for a four-digit PIN each time it opens. That PIN is a lock on the handset, not a password on our server. It is never sent to us: only a one-way hash of it is stored in the app's own storage on that phone, and we have no way to read it or to recover it.

Forgetting it costs nothing. Clear the app's data and set a new one; your account is untouched.

The office hands you a code. You type your mobile number and that code once, and the app is then linked to your shop. There is no SMS and no one-time password: nothing is ever sent to your phone to sign you in. If you lose the phone, tell the office and the old code stops working.

Only Master Poultry Traders staff, and only what their job needs: an office admin sees the books, a collector sees the shops on his own round. One shopkeeper can never see another shopkeeper's account.

Two service providers hold the data on our behalf, and neither uses it for anything of their own: Supabase (the database) and Cloudflare (the hosting the app runs on). Nothing is sold, rented, or shared with advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else. We hand information to a government body only where the law of Pakistan requires it.

The trading record is an accounting book, so it works the way the paper register works: an entry is never rubbed out. A mistake is corrected by posting an opposite entry beside it, and both stay visible. This is deliberate, and it protects you as much as us - it is how a shopkeeper can check that a payment he made was never quietly removed.

So a request to delete cannot mean erasing a delivery or a payment that really happened. What we can do, and will do on request, is: close your login so the app stops opening, and remove your mobile number from the record. The ledger of business already done between us is kept for as long as the law requires books of account to be kept.

This is a trade account app for shop owners. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly hold any child's information.

Traffic is encrypted end to end (HTTPS). Access to the data is controlled per person in the database itself, not merely hidden in the app screen, so a login can only ever read the rows it is entitled to.

If what the app collects ever changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. The date is how you know.
